What are cookies?

used. Related technologies, such as your browser's localStorage, can serve the same
purposes; where we mention "cookies" below we mean both.
How we use cookies
We keep our use of cookies to a minimum. EnergisedX uses:
- Strictly necessary storage — a small record of your cookie choice so we can honour it on future visits. This is required for the site to function and does not track you.
- Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4) — with your consent, we use Google Analytics to measure traffic and site performance so we can improve the site. These are not strictly necessary and are only set after you agree.
We do not use advertising, remarketing, or third-party marketing cookies, we do not use web beacons or email tracking, and we do not sell your data.
Your consent and choices
When you first visit, a banner lets you Accept, Reject, or
Manage preferences. Non-essential analytics cookies are not loaded until you give
consent, and your choice is remembered on later visits. You can change your decision at any time
using the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer of every page. Your choice is
stored in your browser's localStorage (not a cookie) under the key
ex-cookie-consent.

Analytics cookies are only set once you accept them. Until then, Google
Analytics runs in a consent-denied mode and no _ga cookies are stored on your device.
