Sankarshan Durgaprasad
Sankarshan Durgaprasad is a PhD candidate at Delft University of Technology. He holds a Master’s degree in Sustainable Energy Technology from TU Delft and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from PES University, Bangalore. With over 3 years of experience and multiple publications in Q1 journals, his research focuses on the integration and optimization of battery systems onboard ships to reduce lifetime operational expenses. Alongside academia, he collaborates with ship owners, system integrators, and battery suppliers, bridging technical research with practical implementation in the maritime industry.
